City of Aurora Animal Control and Care Facility

We are the Animal Control for the City of Aurora. We operate the animal control facility, providing a place to house unwanted pets and facilitate their adoption.

We patrol the streets of Aurora and actively respond to animal control problems before they become serious. We educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership and pet care through tours, lectures and presentations. We provide adoptions of the shelter animals for them to find their forever homes. We participate in adoption events, farmers markets and other events where we can promote our adoptions.
