Empower adults with disabilities and special needs in our adult day programs by assisting with community outings for our clients.
Weekday daytime volunteers are our greatest need, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. We ask that volunteers commit to one, 3-4 hour volunteer shift a week.
Volunteer opportunities may be either indoors or outdoors.
We have volunteer opportunities on location in our day programs, assisting clients with lunch time activities, arts & crafts, coaching on computers, cooking, exercise/fitness and gardening as well as in our offices including clerical and filing, document scanning and IT support.
Our volunteer locations include Aurora, Elgin, Yorkville, Sugar Grove and Batavia.
