Empower adults with disabilities and special needs in our Elgin adult day program located at 1135 Bowes Rd. Elgin, IL 60123. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available including: assistance with lunch time activities, arts & crafts activities, coaching on computers, cooking, exercise/fitness and gardening.
Weekday daytime volunteers are our greatest need, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. We ask that volunteers commit to one 3-4 hour shift a week.
We have volunteer opportunities in our day programs with community outings, as well as in our offices including clerical and filing, document scanning and IT support.
Volunteer opportunities may be either indoors or outdoors.
