The Joshua Tree Community is looking for a motivated individual who is interested in fundraising or sales and is looking to use their talents in such areas to help us grow. The open position is for a fundraising position that we currently have open, this position would entail but not limited to the following:
- Filling out grant applications.
- Helping to get product donations for upcoming silent / live auctions.
- Lead efforts to attract local businesses to sponsor upcoming fundraisers.
- Taking initiative and generating new monetary donors and combining a database of both existing and new leads.
- Developing and planning new fundraising methods and events.
- Attend networking events in an effort to attract new donors.
- Other tasks around the main goal of bringing more funding to this organization.
While this position is currently for a volunteer if the individual were to prove themselves as a successful fundraiser this position could switch to a paid role if the individual.
