At YMCA Safe 'n Sound a volunteer's time and talent can go a long way to help a child or provide support for families.
Volunteers come from all walks of life but they share a common trait wanting to help others.
YMCA Safe 'n Sound volunteer opportunities are available during after school hours at various Aurora and Naperville Schools.

Examples of volunteer opportunities include:
- Homework Support for School-Age Children
- Coordinate a group project
- Provide leadership for recreation programming after school
- Serve as a parent greeter in an after-school program
- Share special skill or talent, teach it to children such as music, art, sports etc
- Help plan special events for School-Age Children
- Serve as an administrative or clerical assistant (At the YMCA offices in Naperville)
