Kendall County PADS operates in seven different churches serving as shelter sites, each taking one night per week, through the cold months of the year, mid-October through mid-April.
One time per month, from October through April, the Food Team will prepare the evening meal for our PADS shelters as well as participate in the clean up process. Time required: about 1 hour at home; two hours on site 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Will be partnered with 3-4 other food crew ,sharing the food prep and responsibilities. The meal will need to be sufficient to serve put to 20 guests. Volunteer may choose which shelter or which night of the week wrks best for his/ her schedule.
