Looking for caring and compassionate teens, students, and adults to visit patients at facility in St. Charles. Patients love volunteers, and you are able to play music on YouTube, read, take for a spin, or take patients outside in nice weather. It is helping patients, families, and the community as well. Visit at least 2 hrs. per week for a duration of at least 4-6 mo.
We require an interview, fill out an application and background check, provide for copies of your Driver's License and Auto Insurance Card, and provide a recent physical and TB Test (or we can take care of that). Training is 3.5 hrs. and will give you what you need for your assignment. We love our volunteers and are responsive to questions and concerns. :)
