The Manufacturing Careers Internship Program (MCIP) provides youth ages 18-24 an opportunity to explore meaningful and productive careers in manufacturing.
As a MCIP Customer, you are given a few things to ensure your successful completion of your internship:
- Customer’s are reimbursed for their travel/transportation to their internship. This reimbursement is .54 cents per mile. - Customer’s are given Steel toed boots, FREE of charge !
- Customer’s may receive cash rewards for timely attendance (VISA gift cards that can be used anywhere VISA is accepted).
- Customer’s can also earn a $100.00 reward for completing Forklift training, and an additional $100.00 reward for OSHA training and certification.
- Customer’s are also eligible to receive scholarships to go back to school, or complete a certification
