Retired and Senior Volunteer Program helps seniors age 55+ find meaningful volunteer work in Kane and Kendall Counties.
We work with many not for profit agencies, hospitals and pubic agencies to connedt you with organizations based on your interests. Volunteer as much or as little as you like.
Examples of volunteer jobs available include:
* Prepare, serve, or deliver meals to the elderly and frail
* Volunteer transportation drivers to take seniors to the grocery, doctor or pharmacy
* Friendly visitors. Be a senior companion to an isolated or lonely senior in need of friendship.
* Nursing Home Ombudsman.
* Fitness and health class instructors (no experience needed, training provided)
