Empower adults with disabilities and special needs in our Aurora adult day program. We are in need of those who love to garden, and would enjoy working with our clients. This is a year round ongoing opportunity, as we bring it inside during the winter months!
Volunteers must be available Monday-Friday anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. We ask that you commit to one 3-4 hour shift a week, if possible.
One time volunteer gardening opportunities are available for groups who either want to work with clients, or volunteer gardening around our facilities. Contact Maureen at 630-966-4020 for more information.
We also have other volunteer opportunities in our day programs assisting with community outings, arts & crafts, etc, as well as in our offices including clerical and filing, document scanning and IT support.
Our other volunteer locations include: Elgin, Yorkville and Batavia.
