The mission of the Association for Individual Development is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual and mental health challenges to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose.

Our vision is to be a recognized leader providing best quality outcomes for individuals served in areas of housing, employment, community integration, health promotion, recovery and crisis prevention.

AID has openings for some court ordered community service volunteers at our Elgin and Aurora locations. Volunteers must be avaialble weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

To apply, go to our website, aidcares.org to complete an application. From the home page, click on the word "support" at the top right, and then on "volunteer." Please click on "Healthcare Worker Background Check" to view convictions that would preclude an applicant from being able to volunteer with AID.
