The Delivery Angel is a special volunteer position delivering the healing meals to the home of our FVFFH client and their family on a weekly basis. Presently on Wednesday mornings.
The Delivery Angel picks up the beautifully prepared meals from the FVFFH Prairie kitchen, Saint Charles location. Places the prepared meals, already packaged in Snapware containers into insulated bags.
Meals are transported and brought to clients home, placed in fridge.
Discusses the menu and nutritional information/ recipes provided by FVFFH.
Collects the previous weeks Snapware containers and returns Snapware to
kitchen.
Wednesday mornings comittment 2-3 hours max. Option available to deliver to more than 1 client family.
Patients and families receive three to four complete dinners, flavorful soups, a hearty salad and a healthy dessert.
Clients are on our program for 8-12 weeks at a time.
The Delivery Angels work as team members with the FVFFH Volunteer Client Liaison position.
