Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley is seeking volunteers to help Tri-City adults learn English.
The program provides material and training so that anyone can be a tutor. The next tutor training workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 9, 11, 16, and 18 at the St. Charles Public Library.
Volunteers say that there are benefits to being a tutor. You get to learn about other cultures, look at the world from a different point of view, and literally change a life.
