Aurora Downtown is a dedicated group of downtown business and property owners that works cooperatively with the city of Aurora to improve downtown Aurora. Aurora Downtown is a non-profit organization funded by a Special Service Area (SSA) tax that covers the core of downtown. It is run by a board of directors that meets bimonthly at 8 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month at City Hall, 5th floor.

What We Do
Aurora Downtown has a variety of committees that work on downtown improvements and enhancements. Some of the committees work on holiday decorations, parade floats, business retention and attraction, marketing, parking, and landscaping. More specifically, the marketing committee assists in promoting First Fridays in Downtown Aurora, Pop Up Shops, and other downtown events.
