The Humane Society of Aurora was established in 2015 and is 100% volunteer run.
We are the official volunteer group of Aurora Animal Control and Care.
The goals of the Humane Society of Aurora are to:
- Enrich the lives of shelter animals while sheltered at Aurora Animal Control and Care
- Help provide a clean and safe environment for animals, staff, and the public
- Treat all animals with love and respect
- Help match potential adopters to appropriate pets
- Educate the public on responsible pet ownership
- Educate the public on adopting over purchasing their pets
