We are open 361 days of the year for the casual visitor to come out and explore our indoor exhibits or outside trails and cave. We also do family scouts, birthday parties, school and preschool programs year round. We have 40 acres of forests and over a mile of wood chipped hiking trails we need to maintain. We host 4 free special events a year and our programs are free or low cost. It is free to visit the nature center as well.

What We Do
Red Oak’s Mission is to inspire our community, enhance understanding, and make personal connections with their natural environment while providing safe and fun experiences. We are a local nature center that offers free and low cost programs for schools, scouts, birthday partie, summer camps and families year round. We have 40 acers of woodlands and over a mile of wood chipped hiking trails. It's a natural sanctuary in a suburban jungle.
